Continuing my "I heart the 60's forever!" theme, todays style icon is Young Cher.
My favorite Cher phase ever (followed closely by the half-breed years) was the early days before she was known for singing and modeled for Vogue. She was so cute back in the day, still a little chubby and totally shy. Diana Vreeland claimed to have discovered her when she was vacationing on a beach in Spain and a stray bit of newspaper was carried to her on the wind, which contained a picture of Cher. She quickly tracked her down and the rest is history. Don't you just adore that story?
