Hello all! Remember when Bath & Body
Works used to be really lame? When it used red checkerboard and apple baskets as its main decorating theme, and everything smelled like freesia? How things have changed. Some genius realized that wasn't going to cut it in this day and age, and completely revamped the entire company. My favorite part of it all is the new C.O. Bigelow line.
C.O. Bigelow is the name of a pharmacy in New York that has been around for 150 years or so. They too decided to revamp their company and have opened another store in Ohio (what the?) and started distributing their line at Bath & Body Works. Everything I have tried is fabulous, some of my finds are the Lemon body cream and the Favorite lip balm. And everything is packaged in this really great, old timey apothecary packaging with antique labels. My friend Lauren gives a huge thumbs up to the Deluxe facial moisturizer.
Another great addition to B&BW is Goldie, the cutest new makeup line. Created by the founders of Hard Candy, this makeup, and especially the packaging, is genius. I have fallen hard for the Nightowl box set,it includes 4 glosses, 4 shadows, 2 blushes, a brush, shimmer powder, and metallic liquid eyeliner. It costs $38.00, and worth every penny. It is decorated with amazing artwork by Anna-Kim Petty, christened by Lucky magazine as the next Edward Gorey. You should totally check it out!

Well, Crystal, I did it again. I took your advice and waltzed into Bath and Body Works. Lo and behold, an insane sale was going on, and I bought a crapload of goodsmelling items, including the lemon body cream, which actually smells like delicious lemons! So good!
